A striking modern design Passivhaus, with extensive glazing overlooking the river Dart. Overheating is managed with an extended terrace over two floors incorporating frameless glass balustrading.

This bespoke new-build detached house (net floor area 208sqm) was designed to planning stage by architect Chris Donoghue and then detailed and constructed using the PH15 System – the design required various modifications to meet the Passivhaus standard and particularly to address the overheating risks of the extensive glazing areas. External finishes are a mix of lime render and western red cedar boarding. Windows and doors are Katzbeck Linea range. This visually striking house enjoys an enviable setting overlooking the River Dart.
